Bryan as made it to Kyrgyzstan! (Where in the hell is that, you ask??) See map - it's west of China. The flew from Gulfport to Maine to Ireland to Romania to Kyrgyzstan. I need to educate myself a little more. I embarrassed to say I have never heard of it.
He finally met the rest of this 16 man team that he will be working with. The rest meaning - 14 of them. He is attached to A Company, 1-121 of the Georgia National Guard. They are currently at Manas Air Base - he said like any other Airforce base, it's pretty damned nice. Better PX's, bathrooms, etc. - but they are living in a huge, huge tent. But it's only temporary - they'll be moving out soon.
(yes, there is a website for the base ... typical Air Force :) - just jokes, Dale)
He seemed in good spirits - they are finally done sitting around and are moving out and about. Soldiers never like to sit idle... especially Bryan.
He is able to get on his laptop as they have wireless (another Airforce Luxury) so be sure to drop him a line if you have a moment. He's at his army account - comment me if you need it - I don't want to post it.
