Jack is 9 months old. That's 3/4 of 12 months. 12 months is 1 year. You get where I am going. But I definitely don't know where the time went. Jack is the happiest big baby ever. He's curious, impatient, loving, perceptive, full-throttle, cuddly, and so much more. But the best part is that he loves to give his mama kisses.
We had a parent/teacher conference last week. I was told that Jack is daring. He's the ring leader of the class. He listens, he's daring, he steals bottles, and brings the teachers his friends pacifiers. He makes sure everyone is happy and is concerned when the little girls cry. He makes it a point to hang out with everyone in the room - big or small. And will talk &/or yell at them until they react.
They said he's VERY smart... so for those of you who are asking me what Jack wants for Christmas ... 12 month+ toys will do. He's dealing a little with the stranger and separation anxiety. But happy and healthy nonetheless - and that's all that matters.
Well - not QUITE 100% healthy ... Jack got his 1st ear infection this week. So far I've held off from stealing his delicious amoxicillin - don't judge, you think its yummy, too. He's been a trooper but now has amoxicillin-induced diarrhea. TMI? Get over it. I'm the lucky one who gets to change them left and right. :)
