Bryan's on the Move

I was lucky enough to get 5 disconnected phone calls before Bryan and I were able to talk for 45 seconds through static. He said he was heading out from the main base - going to 'coast' - I told him, "ok, be safe, we love you, we miss you, call soon" - and *click*. That was it.

I hung up the phone. Sad.

Thinking to myself ... "Wait - Coast? There are no coasts in Afghanistan, are there?"

I double-guessed my geography skills. Confused, I went back to bed.

This morning I was dabbling in a little of Facebook and his friend Matt, who is currently in Afghanistan, asked where Bryan was and I explained to him my confusion. He clarified it was a city/province ... then I remembered ... dug back into some of Bryan's emails - Khowst
!!! (or Khost)

Oops. I won't call it a blond moment ... I'll blame it on my mommy-brain.

So - Bryan is on his way to his 'hopefully' final destination.
We're one step closer to having an address for Bryan!
