New Year, New Home ...

and a New life!!!

Goodbye Alpharetta and Hello Statesboro!

Bryan and I  closed on 2695 at 11 am on January 4th and became residents of Statesboro, Georgia (again) at 4pm later that day.

With help from my parents and a couple of movers, we had a 26' truck, the Explorer, Beefcake + a snazzy new trailer packed to the max - we left behind best friends and great jobs and hit the open road to new opportunities.

It still hasn't hit me that I will NOT being leaving come Sunday. Since leaving Statesboro in 2003 - it's always been a place to go on a weekend. It never crossed my mind that I'd live here again. However awkward the adjustment - I think Bryan and I made a great decision to move. We love our house, we have awesome neighbors, great friends nearby and a new, less stressful life to look forward to.

Peanut and Mac are still getting used to the adjustment, but they already love the backyard full of trees [and birds]. Unpacking is going slowly, but we had a ton [of much appreciated] help from friends.

Quit slacking off. You still had room for 3, maybe even 4 Q-tips in that UHaul. Your new place looks great!

Mike and I will attest the truck was full, full, full. Had a great five days with you packing/unpacking, enjoying your company and great hospitality, but mostly seeing the excitement on your faces for your new home and life adventure. Thanks, Bryan, for always welcoming us into your home so graciously. We look forward to our new visit.
