Holiday Mailing Dates for Afghanistan

U.S. Postal Service officials announced the recommended mailing dates for delivery by Christmas to U.S. military service members serving in Afghanistan. Holiday mail send via first-class mail and priority mail for service members stationed in Afghanistan should be sent by Dec. 4 for arrival by Christmas.

Priority mail packaging products, including the priority mail flat-rate boxes, can be obtained for free at any post office, or online at shop.usps.com. Updated mailing restrictions by individual APO/FPO zip are available on the U.S. Postal Service website at http://www.usps.com.

The Post Office also has a Flat-Rate Mailing boxes available just for APO and I believe they have also dropped their APO flat mailing rate as well.

Still no address from Bryan but I will post it as soon as I hear.

Jack's 8 Months Old!!

And has been for awhile! But I forgot to post his pics with his daddy being home!! Yes, there are a lot - but it gives you an idea of how freakin' mobile this kid is!! And don't be mistaken ... this kid is a filthy mess. That's not mousse in his hair - that's his lunch and dinner!!

Jack's 4 Month Pictures

It just crossed my mind that I never shared the link of Jack's 4 month pictures! Ooops! During the summer, Jack, Granny June and I headed to Savannah and got some pictures of Jack taken. (+ some of me as Jack couldn't quite sit up by himself yet) Man was it hot! We started out early in the morning - but the humidity couldn't stay away (check out my hair). Jack was a gem, as usual, but was very entranced by the camera. Starer....!

Bryan's New Beast

What do I get for selling Bryan's truck while he was gone? An even BIGGER one in my driveway. Meet Bryan's new Ford 250 4x4 Diesel. It's the 100 Anniversary addition (I think), fully loaded. He deserves power windows and locks. He's beside himself seeing he has an alarm. [ha].

Now... I am just looking for some fainting sheep to justify owning such a large truck.

I know, I know, I know ... where are all the photos of Jack & Daddy? Well - we've been busy enjoying each other. So here's one of my new favorites. More pictures to come. We've gone to football games, purchased new furniture, enjoyed friends, played with Bryan's new truck - watched Jack , played with Jack, loved on Jack ...

Goooooooo Jack!

After a couple days of ups and downs ... Jack's full speed ahead walkin' with his walker! I'm so thankful Bryan was home to see Jack hit this milestone [even though it's not legitimate as he's using the aid of his walker ... ]. Jack also waved (for the 1st time) at his daddy from across the room today while eating his dinner. Ugh. In love. As always.

He's also clearly in love with himself, too. I mean, can you blame him?? :)
