What's more awesomer than this? That I don't have to ask him, he just disappears and I find him tinkling on his potty.

Happy Veterans Day
We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude. In war, there are no unwounded soldiers. The willingness of America's veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude.

I love this picture of my worn out husband. It speaks volumes of what he has done for our country - daily. We will never understand the things he has experienced - but his eyes tell his story, and so do the medals he wears on his chest.
Although Bryan is home from war, he continues to fight for our freedom by providing our soldiers heading to war with his years of experience and knowledge. What many of you don't know, is that even though he is stateside, he is gone most of the time making sure our soldiers are qualified to fight and come home. I am happy that he is safe, but I am sad he is always gone - and so is Jack. But - we can't deny that we are very proud to be his family and who he comes home to.
And, always - thank you to the Veterans we hold near and dear to our heart.

So I promised more posts ...
then the plague hit our house. Jack came down with an ear infection and pink eye. By the time he recovered from that, I was hit by a super sinus infection that Jack seemed to catch and it ended with a strain of food poisoning on my end.
I think all is well now. Bryan was able to come home Sunday - Monday so I could sleep my pain away. It's amazing what 2 days of sleep can do to a system. I feel like a whole new person.

Oops.
I don't understand how so much time has passed ... and how fast!! I'll be better about updating, I promise. Bryan has been workin' hard for the money while Jack and I have been going to school and trying to keep the house clean. Our fall has been a busy one. I am fighting with two classes - not sure who is winning, showing our school spirit, we went to Charleston, anxiously waiting for two new little friends to arrive (one being Annie P), playing with friends - big and small ... and uh, well - I don't know what else.

I'll have to look at my camera to recount my steps from the last 3 months. :)
